January 22nd marked the four-year anniversary of Coffee Time News, and we have been honored to host numerous influential musical artists, athletes, and figures from the worlds of business and media over the years. We are especially thrilled to celebrate our fourth anniversary with a musical talent from Tokyo who was gracious enough to work through language barriers to do an interview with us — which we now bring to you, our dedicated readers, in three languages: English, Japanese, and Portuguese.

She goes by RIS-707, and her charm and sweetness showed us why she has been able to collaborate with musicians from around the world. Her interview covers her musical vision and where her ambition is taking her, while also opening a door to a culture our student-journalists have fallen in love with from a distance through our interviews dedicated to Japan and everything that makes it tick.
