MARIA'S HIGHLIGHTS:
Maria joined Coffee Time News in August 2024 after her confidence and communication skills during online English classes caught the attention of her teacher. Comfortable speaking in a virtual environment and able to remain focused and engaged during conversations, she was invited to put those skills to use as part of the Coffee Time News interview team.
Her first interview was with musician Joe Deninzon, where Maria quickly discovered that she enjoyed the opportunity to meet new people and learn about their experiences. Since then, she has interviewed guests from different countries and backgrounds, including Perry Melius and RIS-707. Her friendly manner and natural curiosity help her engage comfortably with people she is meeting for the first time.
Maria has also become an experienced contributor behind the scenes. In addition to interviewing, she has worked extensively on transcription and translation, helping prepare conversations with artists such as Adonis Rose, Vanessa Collier, St. SBB-B and Andrew D. McNeill for publication. These different responsibilities have given her opportunities to develop both her English and communication skills while gaining practical experience that connects naturally with her interest in public speaking and her ambition to pursue a future career in law.
