Maria's hard work and willingness to go the extra mile have earned her a promotion to Co-Editor of Coffee Time News. Although she has been taking on many of these responsibilities for more than a year, she now officially has the title to reflect the work she has been doing all along. As Maria takes on an even greater role at Coffee Time News, we know her portfolio of interviews will continue to grow and that readers will see the positive impact she makes on our publication every time they visit our website.

Maria has a deep appreciation for education, and her dedication to learning makes her a valuable asset to Coffee Time News. She is always looking for opportunities to expand her horizons and challenge herself. Maria is also an accomplished musician and dancer whose love of the arts and enjoyment of collaborating with others bring creativity and enthusiasm to everything she does.
Maria took a leading role in preparing our team for our interview with John Ulett. Her thorough research, preparation and attention to detail helped make the interview a meaningful experience for everyone involved.
Maria Alves played an important role in editing our interview with Paul Garisto, one of the longest and most comprehensive interviews in Coffee Time News history. In appreciation of her hard work, Mr. Garisto surprised her with a Psychedelic Furs tour T-shirt.
Maria and her Coffee Time News teammates celebrated the completion of the Paul Garisto interview with this framed display featuring autographed memorabilia he generously provided to our student journalists.
